> COOKED ARCHITECTURES

     Material research   |    2020 - 2021   |    London

A series of biomaterial experiments forming a foundation for speculations about alternative ways of building and occupying space. Inspired by natural forms and systems, Cooked Architectures explores regenerative materials and non-invasive methods to create adaptable temporary environments. All biomaterial samples were produced at home with limited means emphasising void as the main tool for manipulation and modification of the material's physical and aesthetic qualities.

Materials: gelatine, water, glycerol, foaming agent, silk, recycled cotton
